Pro level small adult djembe with pure warm tones and all round projection/volume. Dense tiger grain timber maximises the clarity from the yearling (young cow) skin

About the Shell & Hide
This Master Series Djembe was hand carved from Khadi timber. Khadi, or hare, is the densest and hardest of West African timbers, known for powerful resonance and its signature tiger grain. Instantly recognizable and highly sought after. Many different carving styles give it a wide spectrum of sound.
Our Yearling skins come from younger cows, also known as yearlings. With a similar richness to full grown cow, but at thicknesses much better suited to djembe. They are harder on the hands than goat, so are better suited to players with developed technique. We take care to find the best hide for the shell to maximise its dynamic range.
Immaculate hardwood shells, hand selected from master carvers. Outstanding tonal ranges and carve work inside and out, this Series offers both soloIist and rich accompaniment drums. Extra finishing time put into playing edges and exterior detailing.
